Versapath Provisioning

If you are not familiar with Versapath terminology, make sure you have first read about the Versapath Feature Set.

There are two parts to Versapath provisioning which are described below:

Provisioning Versapath Audio Channels

All of the voice channels must be provisioned (in the Line and Trunk Configuration screens) with the Enable Versapath Processing box checked:

If the channel is FXS, it has the option of being a Hotline if the Circuit Type is set to Hotline. Hotline phones automatically dial a number whenever they go off-hook.

Click Versapath Options to set up the Logical Versapath # and Inbound Trunk Group # (if it's a Trunk interface) that this channel belongs to:

Here you can also set the channel to use either the Global Hotline Number or a Local Hotline Number. If using the local number, enter the complete phone number without any punctuation separating the digits.

When configuring the timeslots on the Trunk side, click on the timeslot you want to modify. This brings up the Timeslot Configuration screen:

Set the Versapath identity as described for the analog channels above.

Provisioning Routing and Screening Tables

When all voice and T1 channels are set up for Versapath processing, go to the Main Screen and press the Configure Versapath box in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. This brings up the "checklist" for provisioning the core Versapath functions:

Set up each of the Versapath tables in order:

If you have set up any Hotline channels, set the Global Hotline # here. The Global Hotline applies to the entire system regardless of Logical Versapath Number.

When you are finished with all Versapath provisioning, press Done.
