Channel 1-24 Access

The tip and ring access is through a standard 50 pin D style telephone wiring connector (25 pair telco cable) wired as:

Dry Alarm Contact

The last pair of wires (positions 25 [ring] and 50 [tip]) are connected to a dry alarm contact with a limit of 100 Volts at 1 amp.

This table is the same for TR-08 output. Both the P32xi and mxi normalize the D1D sequence of the channels (used by TR-08) internally from the D1D order of 1,12,2,13&ldots;to the normalized order of 1,2,3&ldots;.

Connect one end of the tip and ring cable to the shelf and connect the other to a RJ-21X wiring jack (punch down block) for making cross connects to your telephones, PBXs, faxes and modems.
