Applies to all Network Interface cards (T1/E1/xDSL).
The system needs a T1 or CAT 5 data cable with RJ45 plugs to connect the unit to the Network smart jack (RJ48). Usually one end is plugged into the T1/xDSL port on the chassis and the other connected to the Network smart jack or to the local equipment.
