There are a number of settings for the P32xi/mxi needed for system management:
This information will be printed out on the Craft Port whenever there is a reportable error message. It is also accessible as part of the RFC1213 SNMP MIB (MIB-II).
Contact Information - Usually the name/phone number of the person responsible for the system; maximum length is 128 characters (including symbols).
System Name - An identifier for this particular system. Significant only to the equipment owner/operator.
System Location - A physical location identifier for this particular system. Significant only to the equipment owner/operator.
System IP Address - This is the address of this system for management purposes. The system will respond to any SNMP Get/Set requests to this address.
IP Address of Traps - The IP address where SNMP Traps are sent (usually the address of Network Management Center).
Trap Port Number - The port number where the SNMP Traps are sent.
Sets the local Date and Time in the real-time clock on the P32mxi.
