The P32xi Voice & Data Multiplexer is an intelligent multiplexer featuring the following:
Twenty Four (24) analog FXS channels
A single V.35 interface on a high density DB-26 connector as a standard feature
An optional WAN Router card is available as an add on accessory board
Triple Mode Power: Power the P32xi from 110VAC or -48VDC or 110VAC with -48VDC back-up. Contains an integrated battery charge circuit for use with the PCI battery cabinet
Optional wall mounted battery cabinet to house batteries for power failure or outage conditions
Integrated Ringing Generator with a low distortion true sine wave output
Integrated CSU with T1 Signaling and Line Code Conversion
TR-08 Mode I, software selectable
The P32xi Voice & Data Multiplexer supports T1 access to long distance carrier networks as well as local service providers, CLECs and CAPs for up to 24 channels. The P32xi Voice & Data Multiplexer supports D4 (SF), ESF and TR-08 framing with AMI or B8ZS line coding.
All configuration and set-up parameters are provisioned using a PC and the StarCAD 9000 Configuration Wizard graphical user interface. There are no user provisioned switches located anywhere on the unit.
The system comes complete with 24 FXS voice channels and one V.35 data port. The P32xi Voice & Data Multiplexer supports standard POTS interfaces such as 2-wire loop start, 2 wire ground start, high speed modem and fax connections, and E&M conversion to loop or ground start signaling and AT&T's MEGACOM.
