The P32mxi Broadband Access Device is an intelligent multi-service access device featuring the following:
up to 32 analog FXS/DPO or FXO/DPT channels (modular in 4-channel increments)
a V.35 interface on a high density DB-26 connector as a standard feature
an optional Router with 10/100Base-T Ethernet access (RAVE module)
Triple Mode Power: Power the unit from 110VAC or -48VDC or 110VAC with -48VDC back-up. Contains an integrated battery charge circuit for use with the optional battery cabinet
optional wall mounted battery cabinet to house batteries for power failure or outage conditions
integrated Ringing Generator with a low distortion true sine wave output
two modular Network Interfaces which can be either T1, E1, or G.shdsl
TR-08 Mode I, software selectable
remotely configurable VF channel and Network Interface parameters
call routing and screening (Versapath Feature Set)
The RAVE module includes a fully-functioned Router with integrated firewall. PPP, Frame Relay, and ATM transport options are supported. The RAVE module also performs all Voice over IP and Voice over Broadband (ATM) functions. In-band SNMP and Web Management is also supported with the RAVE module installed.
The P32mxi Broadband Access Device supports T1/E1/G.shdsl access to long distance carrier networks as well as local service providers, CLECs and CAPs for up to 32 analog VF channels.
All configuration and set-up parameters are provisioned using a PC and the StarCAD 9000 Graphical User Interface.
