The P32xi/mxi allows you to monitor a number of internal system voltages and the internal temperature for maintenance purposes. To access the Environmental Information Screen, double click the main system box on the Main Screen (see Navigating the Main Screen), then click the Environmental tab.

Voltage and Temperature readings in the Red and Yellow zones should be attended to as soon as possible. The P32mxi will automatically generate an SNMP Trap to tell a Network Management System (NMS) that there is a problem. A message describing the problem will also be printed on the Craft (Serial) Port.
These are the core voltages used by the system:
+5VDC - affects entire system behavior
-5VDC - affects the Craft Port and FXS/FXO channel cards
-48VDC - affects FXS/FXO channel cards
Battery Supply Voltage - affects entire system behavior if no AC power is connected
These voltage readings can be useful when debugging FXS channel cards. Defective ringing voltages will cause phones attached to the channel cards to not ring even though the correct signaling is being applied. Available voltage readings are:
Ringing Rail (High/Low)
Peak Output (High/Low)
RMS Ringing Voltage
Measures the temperature inside the system. Temperature readings over 60C will affect the life expectancy of the system.
