If the Battery Backup is connected to the P32xi/mxi system, then it is possible to test the battery capacity through the StarCAD program. Go to the Maintenance Menu and click on Battery Test. The test will start automatically.
Note that the test takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and you can't do any other configuration or maintenance functions while the test is underway. If necessary, clicking Stop Test will abort the test and restore the system to normal.
During the test the "Low Batt" light on the front faceplate will be lit.
